Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Home Has It web application. By using Home Has It or purchasing Home Has It Premium, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.

The service

Home Has It helps you record where personal belongings are stored, complete an optional household Home Check, receive optional reminders, and share selected Essentials through Care Circle. Free entries remain in your browser; verified Premium collections can sync through Firebase. Home Has It is provided for general organizational use and is not an emergency, security, medical, legal, or financial recordkeeping service.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the information and photos you add, for maintaining access to your device, and for keeping separate records of anything important. Do not use Home Has It to store passwords, financial account details, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive secrets.

Availability

We aim to keep Home Has It useful and available, but the service is provided “as is.” Browser settings, device loss, network outages, third-party service interruptions, or software changes may affect local storage or cloud synchronization. Keep a separate record of anything important.

Free and Premium access

The free version allows up to 5 saved items. Home Has It Premium is a one-time purchase that adds unlimited items, private account-based cloud sync, backup tools, optional Home Check reminders, and an owner-controlled Care Circle with up to two free viewers. It is not a subscription and does not create a recurring charge. Prices and included features are shown before checkout. Premium access is tied to the verified checkout email.

Care Circle

Care Circle invitation links are intended for a trusted recipient and should not be posted publicly. The household owner must have Premium and may invite up to two viewers. Each viewer must use their own verified Home Has It sign-in but does not need to purchase Premium. Viewers receive read-only access to the owner’s Essentials names and finding directions, not photos or editing rights. Owners are responsible for choosing what they mark as Essentials and whom they invite. Care Circle does not replace emergency planning, supervision, medical guidance, or professional caregiving services.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Home Has It does not receive your full card number. Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy and any rights required by applicable law.

Changes

Features and these terms may change as Home Has It develops. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
